How do we pick users' email(author,editor etc) addresses in a e-mail enabled workflow?

You map the email addresses to the users. How you do this is up to you. What method are you using to email your users? Are you using one of Interwoven's email scripts? Your own? You're not providing enough information to allow anyone to help you.

I am a newbie to the Workflow. Iam testing concurrent _approval_with_email_with_metadata.wft. I am using the example wft provided by the IWOV. Can u please tell me how its getting the e-mail addresses?

It may be looking for the email_map.cfg mapping file. You really can't expect to use Interwoven's workflows out-of-the-box without at least a little understanding of the scripts it uses and a general understanding of how workflow works. I would recommend looking at the scripts that particular workflow calls and scanning the code to see how it works. If you are unfamiliar with perl, you're going to definitely have difficulty with workflow. You might consider taking Interwoven's workflow developer course.
