Transparent PNG

Hello BIRT community,

using GIMP for creating or changing some images I had exported them as PNG.
Before saving them a pop-up window shows with two choices as radio buttons:
* Flatten Image
* Merge Visible Layers

Using the option "Merge Visible Layers" creates transparent PNG. If I use this image in some BIRT report (2.6.1) (on Windows or Linux) and then open the report in acrobat reader (9.4.2) in Ubuntu Linux then the page where the image is on has "fancy" colors instead of the right one.

Can someone else check this one.

Edit*: Using Adobe Photoshop it happens too.

It seems that this one is fixed in the newest version (3.7.0 and 2.6.2) of BIRT.
