PDF Bookmark levels

Hello, 
 
I couldn't find a solution to my problem: 
As I make bookmarks in my created BIRT PDFs, I have to make two levels (top & sub) in my current one. But I can't find an option where to do this. (Sub levels meaning: So that I can open the it with a "+" as shown in my picture found on the internet.)

Hi Norbert,

you can't set the level for the table of contents entries your own.
The BIRT engine decides about the level and structures when generating the report following a simple rule:
It just creates the TOC that reflects your report.
Let's assume you created a toc entry for a entire table called "My Table". Inside the table you have a group with toc entry "MyGroup x". In the detail row you have a element with toc entry "My Element x". The resulting TOC when running the report would be:

My Table
|--MyGroup 1 (first group)
|----MyElement (for each element in MyGroup 1)
...
|--MyGroup 2 (second group)
|----MyElement (for each element in MyGroup 2)
...
|--MyGroup n (last group)
|----MyElement (for each element in MyGroup n)

You can simply regenerate the desired structure by nesting your elements accordingly (using grids or tables) and adding toc entries for the elements that reflect your desired structure
