Backup of i server

Hi ,

I am using Actuate11 i Server 11 Service Pack 1 Development (Build DEV110307). Is there any way to take backup of all contents of server. So,

1.It could be used in recovery in case of server crash.
2. What steps are required in migrating to new version of i server when you want to keep contents of old versions intact .

iServer Volumes are backed up independently. The following documentation describes how to perform a volume backup:

Regarding upgrading, you have three choices:
1. Automatic in-place upgrade
2. Manual in-place upgrade
3. Manual side-by-side upgrade
