Month is not in Proper

Hi All,
I am trying to generate a report in month wise,
But MONTH IS NOT IN PROPER ORDER IN CROSS TAB,
Its coming Alphabetical order by default,
How to order.
Plz help me on this,

How are you creating the month dimension? If you have a date field and use the month grouping, it should be in order. If you just have a field like Jan, Feb, Mar, etc. You can create a computed column that gives you 1, 2, 3, etc. depending on the month, then in your dataCube, select the string month dimension, select edit and add the new numeric field as an attribute to the dimension. Finally, in your crosstab, sort the dimension by the attribute you assigned to it.

You could also do it in your SQL, Oracle: to_char(mydate,'MM')<br />
<br />
Javascript;<br />
dataSetRow["mydate"].getMonth()<br />
(January =0)<br />

To create a computed column, simply open up your dataSet editor and go to the computed column section and add a computed column.
