Date Time picker for parameters

Hi,

For my report I have some date time parameters. At present you do not get much choice how these are entered. This is typically into a Text Box with the format of 2011-07-24 00:00:00.

What would be nice would be to have a Date Time Picker control.

Is there one available in BIRT Designer in Eclipse and BIRT Web Viewer?
Can you write your own BIRT Designer in Eclipse?
Can you write your own BIRT Web Viewer?
If so is there any more information on how to do this?

Actuate BIRT has a calendar plugin for this feature. You can also add this in Eclipse BIRT. Creating your own designer would be quite a task, I think. You can create your own viewer. The actual open source viewer was originally just an example to show how you can create one of your own. Here is a link to a devShare that shows how to do the calendar.
