Fixing page footer at the bottom of the page

Hi

For my BIRT reports am using page footer through master page. But the issue is when there is data only for half a page in the report body, then the page footer also gets displayed in the middle of the page.
My requirement is that the page footer should get displayed only at the bottom of the page irrespective of whatever space the report body occupies.

is there any property setting that should be changed to enable this ?

We fixed this putting evry thing in a a grid. This will fill the remaining of the page if you dont set the size.
