Changing Default value of parameter Based ON other parameter

Hi,

My report contains Two Parameters 1. Asset class and 2.Asset.

Is there any way to set the default parameter value of an asset parameter based on selection of Previous parameter(i.e, Asset Class)..

I tried this code in default parameter of asset but it dint work:


if (params["Asset Class"].value== 'SWITCH CAL SPECS')
{
'PR6780'
}


it only works well When code is for default value set for asset class Parameter.

like if Asset class default value is "XYZ" and code written in Asset parameter IS:

if (params["Asset Class"].value== 'xyz')
{
'PR6546'
}

THEN IT WORKS FINE WITH VALUE 'PR6546'.

I need same with changing parameter for all values of asset class not only default.

Any idea will be appreciated.

YOu can do this trough Cascading Parameter Group.
