Changing the port number on Iportal/iserver

Hi All, i have had iportal/iserver installed using the default port of 8900 and it has been working fine. it also works on 8700. however i now have a customer to whom i give access to link from outsite the organisation and he will not allow port 8900 for some security reasons. the only two ports he allows are 80 or 443.
i have gone to the config page and changed
Management Console and Information Console port: 443
Information Console URL prefix: http://localhost:443/iportal
restarted the system but still no luck

any pointers?

Port 80 is standard http and port 443 is https.

If you have the Information Console (iportal) running on both 8700 and 8900, I would change the 8700 to run on port 80. This is done by editing the server.xml file associated with the Tomcat instance. If you have an instance on 8700, and if you are running on Windows, you will likely find this file here C:\Program Files (x86)\Actuate11\iPortal\conf. You will edit the port associated with the catalina server by changing 8700 to 80. You can just do a search in the file for 8700 and it will take you right to it.

Afte making this change, you will have to restart Tomcat.
