PHP Java Bridge: Reports on NFS share

Hello, 
 
i want to access Report Design files from BIRT/JavaBridge on a NFS share, but I just get a "Report file not found in [Full Path]" error. When opening a report design file from the local filesystem on the tomcat machine everything runs fine. 
 
Is there any configuration needed to get NFS shares working in BIRT?

I would think this is a permission problem. Is the same user that is running the JavaBridge and php the same user that mounted the nfs?
