using formapi to add a color picker

Hi,
I am new to formapi. I need to add color-picking functionality like this :-

Could someone give me some ideas as to how i can do this ?

I am going to try using cgi-callout with the onCallout event handler.
But was wondering if someone has tried this and is there a better way.

You'll probably want to look at the sample cgi-callout that comes with TeamSite and use that along with the code from the site you referenced so that once you capture the information you can feed it back into the DCT/DCR in the appropriate field.

Additionally, you might be able to use the code more directly using FormAPI to run the JavaScript code - look at the on-line docs for FormAPI for assistance in setting up the callbacks (http://ts_server/iw/help/tst/formapi)
