How to migrate from Birt 2.3 to Birt 3.7

Do you know a step by step migration guide to Birt 3.7?

I checked http://wiki.eclipse.org/Birt_3.7_Migration_Guide but it really does not tell us how to update the current rptdesign files to 3.7. Do we just need to open and save them using 3.7 plugin? Is there an option to update all rptdesign files to 3.7 in a batch mode? What will happen with the birt-resource folders css, images, javascript, library are they going to change/move somewhere else?

They will only change versions if you make modifications to them. Older reports should continue to run fine in the new run time.
