Adding jar to classpath of Iserver
r_mch
Hi, we are trying to create an FTP upload that will automatically upload completed reports at a certain time every day. We have created a jar that will achieve this, but we need to add it to the classpath of the Iserver (v.10) before it can be called by the script in the completed report.
Can anyone tell me how we would go about adding this file to the classpath of the IServer? At present we only have access to the normal user panel and the administration panel but I can't see how we could add the jar through either of these. Is there some other method we should be using?
Thanks.

hi averma, thanks for the link. how does one access the root directory of the encyclopedia volume? At present, we only have access to a normal user frontend and an admin backend. can i access the root via either of these or is there another terminal based access i can use?

Hi r_mch,
You could use "Management Console" to browse and manage the files/folders of encyclopedia volume. I believe you are referring to "Information Console" as normal user front end tool. You could use this tool to browse the files/folders and in version 11 sp2 you can use it to add files, create folders too. Both Information Console and Management Console are out-of-the box user interface applications available with BIRT iServer. Besides these BIRT iServer provides APIs access as well for all back-end operations.
