BIRT Migration error from version 2.2 to 2.5

We have migrated BIRT runtime from 2.2 to 2.5. The older report created for 2.2 is not working in BIRT runtime 2.5.

It is giving below error.

A BIRT exception occurred.

Error Message:An error happened in data type conversion.

So, you can pull data in from both flat files fine, but the issue is with the joint dataSet? Can you attach the report that uses these two data files so I can see the issue?
