Retrieve list of the report parameters (API)

I have an application written in Java (standalone swing application) from this application through Report Engine (BIRT RunTime) i want to get the list of all report parameters .<br />

Is it possible ? I want to retrieve all properties of a parameter, for example : <br />
<br />
<ul class='bbc'><li>promptText</li><li>valueType</li><li>dataType</li><li>distinct</li><li>defaultValue</li></ul>
<br />
I've tried using IRunAndRender, but seems that is not possible to retrieve a list of parameters class, there is only the option to retrieve parameterValue list : <br />

Is possible to retrieve a list of the parameters of a report with the report engine API ? How ?<br />
Can i retrieve the list of report parameter from report engine runtime class or i have to parse the raw XML ? <br />

Have you already taken a look at org.eclipse.birt.report.engine.content?
Under ReportEngine there're createGetParameterDefinitionTask, both for IRunnable and IReportRunnable, returning IGetParameterDefinitionTask, which let you have getParameterDefns.
