Please Help to hide a group of results

I am facing some problem in Birt Reporting, it is very thankful anyone provide a thought/solution for that. Following is my problem.<br />

I wrote one query it fetches the results in a table in the following way:<br />
COUNTRY LOCATION DEPT EMPNO SAL COMM AGE<br />
INDIA HYDERABAD MARKETING 10 1000 10 25<br />
INDIA HYDERABAD MARKETING 11 1000 10 26<br />

now in my reporting i m grouping by country, location, dept.Then we will get the results in the following way:<br />

here, my QUESTION is, whenever either PURCHASE OR SALES department exists in any location Then DON'T SHOW MARKETING DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES<br />
And Second one is,<br />
IF any location has only one department and that too all employees are related to MARKETING DEPARTMENT, then show only a message like that 'ALL EMPLOYEES ARE RELATED TO MARKETING".<br />

Can any one please suggest how to hide a group (page) based on the other group results. its an urgent issues. Please help me..........<br />

Hi Doradla,
You can achieve this with a filter and some scripting. See the attached example, I have added a filter condition to the dataset if the productline is "Motorcyles". I am also using a report variable to store the count of the data rows for each group and printing a special message at the group footer in case the product count is less than a certain threshold.
In your case you could do something similar and formulate a filter condition and keep the count of the rows in the group to display special messages in the group footer.
