When are wft_deploy*.tmp files created in /var/tmp? What are these files for? Do they get created when ever a workflow is submitted? Is there any specific condition for them to be created? Please let me know if you have and information regarding these files.

The name of the temporary file would seem to indicate they come from some externaltask or cgitask script that performs a deployment. If you look at the workflows you are using and see what scripts they are calling to perform deployments, you can probably track down the source of the temporary files.

If it turns out to be caused by a script that is shipped with the product (as opposed to a local customization), please contact Interwoven Support and file a bug report on it.

Yeah, I think they're a by-product of a customisation. I don't see anything like that in our /var/tmp. What do the files contain? Perhaps their contents would help explain their existence?
