onSaveNameSpecified

Hi,

I have fn. which executes on onSaveNameSpecified like below.
IWEventRegistry.addFormHandler("onSaveNameSpecified", handle_saveNameSpecified);

In the fn. i am validating the dcr name then saving. But i want to do only when i say save for saveas i don't need validation.

Is it possible find out in this fn. whether i clicked save or saveas etc.

Your best bet is probably to also use an onSave handler to set a global flag based on the button pressed. Note that the onSave handler gets passed the button that was pressed, but onSaveNameSpecified does not. So, you can set a flag in your onSave handler to say whether or not you need to do validation, then check that in onSaveNameSpecified.
