Displaying user filtered criteria in the report...

Hi All,

how can we display user entered criteria in the report..??

Say for example in Maximo, user go to Work Order Tracking Application,search for particular workorders(Ex:- 18436%)and run some report.He will get result with respect to entered value.

But We would like to diplay that filter condition in the report output.May be in the footer.

Can anone suggest how can we achieve this...??

Maximo uses a parameter name 'Where' for that. To display the parameter simply add a data item with the value - params["where"].value

That will give you the entire 'where' clause value along with user entered value. 
 
Along with that System will add some other conditions .:( 
 
I want only user entered or typed info to be displayed in the report..

Unless it is a specific parameter your only choice would be to parse the 'where' parameter. Maximo does not pass 'what the user entered'.
