Iserver

Hi all
I having this error on my Iserver box
3301: Cannot get report parameters for the specified file.
PARAMETER1=/summaryreport/summary.rptdesign
PARAMETER2=null
PARAMETER3=null
I`m using Actuate BIRT Designer Professional Version: 11.0.2 Build id: 20110811
So I published my report to the Iserver, then when I tried to open it up, gives s that error
The data source for the reports is a flat file (.csv) also i pusblished it under the resources folder, gave all the permissions needed .
So I created a folder named summaryreport and put everything under it,still same error.
Wondering where I need to put it . I also have a a couple of languages files for localization.
Thanks in advance for any help
Iserver runs out of a Suse Linux SLE
Designer runs on a windows 7 box.

Hi Julioleiva,

Welcome to the community. You could search for (a solution maybe in this forum: http://www.birt-exchange.org/org/forum/index.php/forum/11-deploying-birt-reports-in-deployment-kit-or-birt-iserver/)

But what I get from you have a parameter that dynamically points to a supreport.

It all depens how you managed your iserver it could be.

A report looks from its ROOT as they call it.

So if you published in /Public/ReporttypeA/

The sub folder should be in /Public/ReporttypeA/ but if your not sure you could put it in resources.

I take evry thing is in one and the same BIRT project?

You should probably email support@actuate.com and open a case.
When you say "then when I tried to open it up", what are you doing?
(i.e. Using Management Console, iPortal, custom IDAPI or JSAPI application?)

Thanks four your reply,
I'm using Iportal
when I say "open it up" I meant when I click on the report name to run it.

I will e-mail actuate

Thanks
