Hi viveks,
Can you explain a little more in detail? Are you wanting to filter the crosstab and have links on all the remaining cells or are you wanting to have links on only some cells and have the rest with no link? Or am I missing what you're trying to do entirely? Let me know!

Like piwya said, if you create a report parameter on the second report, you can pass the clicked value through this parameter in your drill through. When you're setting up the drill through hyperlink, you'll see the parameters section. You'll just need to select your report parameter from the list and choose the value to pass through. Then, in your second report, you'd set it up so that your data is limited by the report parameter. Let us know if you have issues setting this up. I'm sure either piwya or I can make a simple example that shows you how if necessary!

Can you explain more about what you mean? Are you asking if you click on a measure cell in the crosstab, how do you pass the date from the dimensions? If so, what dimension groupings are you showing from the date? What version of BIRT are you using so I can check it out in your version?
Let me know.
