Hi all,
Please help me out ,i have attached my requre report screen shot. Please tell me how to do this report?
Since i am using Scripted Data source , for scripted data set we will have OPEN,FETH and CLOSE Script,
somebody told me use cross tab for this report. but how to use cross tab according to my rpeort .
SHELL ASSEMBLY STAGEWISE POSITION one of part is there in this attached report .I have divided this report and i am doing firt part of report called as SHELL ASSEMBLY STAGEWISE POSITION. In that "Type" is growing horizontaly which is dynamic ,dyanamic means we have to assign the values for "Type" field. Othere than "Type" field BO.NO,QTY,FROM, and TO fields are there which are static ....
so in all 5 fields are there Type,BO.NO,QTY,FROM, and TO in that Type field is dyanamic and othere are static. Please help me and give me some suitable solution in this case since i dont konow how to use cross tab in case of Scripted Data source ,and Scripted Data set... Because in that 3 Scripa OPEN,FETCH and CLOSE are there... so how to handle according to our need..
Please see the attachemnt
Tnanks and Regards

I'd agree, from the looks of it the crosstab is going to be the way to go. It shouldn't matter what your open, fetch, and close scripts are. This part is done before you create the dataCube, so I'm not sure why this is an issue. Maybe I'm not understanding something. If you have your 5 fields, you'll just set up a dataCube and make one dimension with your Type. Then, you'll make measures for the other columns of data. You'll set the crosstab up with the dimension as the row dimension, then you'll flip the orientation of the crosstab so that your measure headers are at the left. That should do it. Let me know if you have questions or if that doesn't get you what you're wanting.
