Using MS-Excel as data source

Hi,

I'm trying to use MS-excel as a data source for my reporting. I'm don't see any option to do that. I'm using BIRT 2.5.2 for my reporting. I can't use any advanced version of BIRT other than 2.5.5. Can any one help me how can I use MS-excel as data source?.

I have tried to get some information from BIRT exchange and followed the steps given in the given link http://www.birt-exch...20110930063129/ but still I'm not able to get Excel as a data source.

Your help highly appreciated.

Hi Jason, 
I checked this approach already. But for this I need to write script to populate data from excel. Do we have any graphical way?
