execute a custom report from select action option

Hi,

am facing an error while trying to execute a custom report from select action customised option.

Error is BMXAA5480E. report test.rpt from WOTRACk application failed to run.
This report don't have any parameters.
I used the runreport method of birtadminservice class, but it fails and gives null pointer exception.
code snippet in workorder appbean given below

ReportParameterData parameterData= null;
ReportAdminServiceRemote birtAdmService = (ReportAdminServiceRemote)MXServer.getMXServer().lookup(?BIRTREPORT?);
byte[] abyte0 = birtAdmService .runReport(userInfo, "test.rpt", "WOTRACK", parameterData, "TEST", ?pdf?);

please help.
