Hide a grid in the footer on all pages except the last page

Hello everyone,

I want to show a grid in the footer only on the last page of the report. I am using BIRT 2.3.2.

First I tried using two master pages. I put the grid in the footer of the 2nd master page. Then on the table's group footer row, I associated this master page in the page break properties. But with this I get the grid on a new page, not the current page footer.

Second I tried using scripts.
OnCreate() of the table I set two variables.
pageNumber = 0;
totalPages = -1;

OnPageBreak() of the table,
pageNumber++;

Then I select the grid in the footer, and OnPrepare()

if(pageNumber != totalPages)
this.getStyle().display = "none"
else if(pageNumber == totalPages)
this.getStyle().display = "block"

Still it is not working

Also I assigned

totalPages = pageNumber

on the last row of the table's OnRender()
