Custom Master Page

hi,

i am new to birt

i created a custom Master Page and i want to add to it a footer so it will appear on all the pages

however i cant seem to add anything on the master page it wont allow me

only on the layout i can add stuff

the thing is that i have dynamic table with multiple lines if i added a footer there it wont be fixed to the bottom and it will change its place

any suggestions?

If you select the masterpage tab below the design window, you'll see the masterpage footer. In this window, you'll be able to put stuff in the header/footer, but not in the layout!

i want the footer after the master page border.

Can you not just put the border on the element in the design layout then?

no that's not the problem i want the footer in master page after the border of master page.
