Use date from csv in some tables

Hey everyone,

i have problem with my report. there has to be a date in some tables, which is read from a csv file. but a table just allows one dataset. joining the two csv files don't solve the problem, because there would be an empty line in the table and the sorting of rows in the csv file changes after joining the two csv files.

can somebody tell me how i can use the date from the csv file in the tables? is there a way to create a global variable with the date from the csv file in it?

If you put a hidden text box bound to the dataSet that uses the csv file with just the date at the top of your report, then in the onFetch of this dataSet, you store your date into a persistent global variable, you can recall this variable in a dynamic textbox in your other table. Hope this helps.
