Expression are JavaScript snippets that return a single value. To learn more, read some of the excellent documentation available here on the BIRT Exchange, under the Community/Resources/Documentation section. please say the steps to add Birt functions in the particular column

hiyaaa...u cud add a dynamic text to your column or even data to create a new column binding...right-click insert...u can then build up ur expression.. im quite new to BIRT..so i learnt most of it by trial and error..
