jquery in birt viewer

Hi,

i want to show the calender(datepicker) to select date type in parameter textbox in BIRT Report Viewer for which i have modified two files:
1. Adding jquery (<script></script>) and css (<link ... >) files in:
birt/webcontent/birt/pages/layout/FramesetFragment.jsp

2. Adding the jquery code infor
birt/webcontent/birt/pages/parameter/TextBoxParameterFragment.jsp

but after editing and saving these files the birt viewer is not be able to load itself (nor the report is viewable)

If there is any solution to this problem let me know.
Even if there is any other method to add datepicker let me that know also...

Thanks for your link, but i have also tried with the method given in this link and the same problem is there.
After that i have tried jquery UI datepicker widget and the same problem is again there, that is after editing and saving these files the birt viewer is not be able to load itself (nor the report is viewable)

why is this happening ?
Is there any other method of adding datepicker ?

now That's fine i have worked out what is happening in adding the code.
the thing is that it is working only in /frameset and i am trying to view report in /run.
