Excel Reports with tabular data and graph.Gridlines not proper
harsimran
Hi
i am using BIRT 2.6.2 and Excel tribex emiiter to genrate Excel based reports.
Added following jars:
org.uguess.birt.report.engine.common_2.5.2.201107181644.jar
org.uguess.birt.report.engine.emitter.xls_2.5.2.201107181644.jar
and removed default excel emitter jars:
org.eclipse.birt.report.engine.emitter.prototype.excel_2.6.2.r262_v20110215.jar
org.eclipse.birt.report.engine.emitter.excel.config_2.6.2.r262_v20110127.jar
from Code side i have added following :
1)in birt engine while loading:
................
private static EngineConfig engineConfig = new EngineConfig();;
...........
.............
Map xlsConfig = new HashMap();
xlsConfig.put("remove_empty_row", true);
xlsConfig.put("export_single_page", true);
xlsConfig.put("export_body_only", true);
xlsConfig.put("fixed_column_width", new Integer(50)); //$NON-NLS-1$
engineConfig.setEmitterConfiguration(XLS_FORMAT, xlsConfig);
........
2)While rendering:
EXCELRenderOption options = new EXCELRenderOption();
options.setHideGridlines(true);
options.setOutputFormat(format);
options.setOption(IRenderOption.EMITTER_ID,"org.uguess.birt.report.engine.emitter.xls");
I am not sure if above configurations is right.please explain how it work and what is best configurations?

So, you're setting the setHideGridlines to true, but you want the grid lines to show? Maybe I'm not understanding the issue.
