Image from servlet never displays in PDF!

Hi Birts,

I have a simple report that has to display a picture which is fetched from a servlet.

...
<property name="source">url</property>

<expression name="uri" type="javascript">"http://localhost:8081/myserver/image?id=123_0"</expression>
</image>

I am using Java code to run my report. When i run my report as HTML, the image does call the servlet to fetch the content but the servlet is never called when i change output format to PDF. I have tried all sorts of stuff.

Till few hours back i was using Birt 2.6 but due to my problem i upgraded BIRT to 3.7.

Please help!

So, the image you're trying to grab is on a servlet on your local machine? Have you tried if the image is from an external source? If so, is there the same issue?
