Can you explain more of what you're wanting? You can use the tag library to display a report within a frame in a jsp page, if this is what you mean.

thanks for the reply. i am generating the report in pdf format ,so was hoping if birt has any api's or facilities to provide frames (like the photo frames having four of its borders as images )

i will attach the report design where i am placing all my required elements inside a grid and then placing the grid inside another grid(frame grid).I wanted to know if Birt has any pre-defined frames so i may not have to use the frame grid i designed .

Nope. You'll have to design your own decorative frames with BIRT.
