Check Dataset before creating Table Row

Hi,
Can we check the dataset before the row for table is created?
Something like:-
onPrepare of Row Check if (dataset==null){ Do not create Row} else {Create Row}

I read about the example where visibility of row is set according to Total.count>0.
But won't it be better if we stop row creation instead of hiding it?

Unfortunately, you don't have access to the data in the onPrepare method to know if there is data or not. You could create a connection to your dataSet in your beforeFactory method, run your query to check for the result set size, then simply drop the table in question if there is no data returned. This would be similar to what you're trying to do.
