Hi all 
 
When we run reports beyond a specific number we get the following error: 
 
error generating report org.eclipse.birt.report.engine. 
api.EngineException: Exception in writing temporary file for large data set. 
No space left on device (Element ID:1394) 
 
By default the temporary documents generated while execution of reports 
are stored in a temporary location. 
Can we configure the location where these documents are generated so that we don't run into this issue? 
 
Any other suggestions on this issue?

The OS we are using is Linux.
The version of BIRT is 3.7

Any suggestions or advice would be really helpful.

try changing the path for this Java property: 
java.io.tmpdir 
 
this seems to be where the temp files are stored in 2.3.2 at least.
