birt deployment error CannotStartupOSGIPlatform
amitshende
hii
i am using birt 3.7 and jboss application server.
i hv copied all jars excluding (org.apache.xerces_2.9.0.v201101211617.jar) from birt runtime 3.7 lib folder to WEB-INF/lib folder.
when i deploy using jboss on windows platform it's working fine.
But when i deploy on linux platform i am getting following error.
Platform.startup(config) leads to this exception:

This bug report might be helpful. It shows a workaround to your same error. Let me know.

Hi,
Sorry for late reply.

Thing is that i m not getting where i have to put this workaround solution?

The workaround is to add RegistryProviderFactory.releaseDefault();
when shutting down the engine
Have you tried adding that line of code when you're destroying the engine? That's the way I read it. Let me know.
