srikala
I am facing issues with the BookMarks when i view the report in pdf.
If my report has 3 model types , i see 6 model types in the bookmark. Any help on how to control the book marks and page breaks inside a report.
And also what is the Page break interval = 40 mean.
Please help!

Can you attach a sample report that uses the sample database that shows your issue? I'm not sure I'm clear on what you're meaning. As for the page break interval of 40, this means that after 40 rows in your table, a page break will be forced if one hasn't happened already.

Hi Williams
We had a problem with paging, when the pagebreak interval is left to default(ie 40)then in the second page only 2 records are shown, and subsequent pages has full records.
We tried by changing the page break interval to 38, it worked fine, but the issue here is the total number of records is dyanamic , we may get 10 records or we may get 10000 records, so how to handle this situation in BIRT 3.7.1 version.
When we tried to set the page break interval to 0 or -1 , the variable birtPageNumber is not getting incremented. We are using this variable for some other scripting purpose.
So please help us.

What is your BIRT version? In the newest versions, when setting the page break interval to 0 and using a fixed layout, this issue is fixed. If using an older version, what is the reason for not upgrading?

After hearing more about your issue on Yahoo IM, all you should need to do to fix your issue is to set the page break after setting to "always excluding last" in your list group.
