Hierarchical data display

Alex{MIIT}

Hello.

I have some hierarchical data (example attached) to display as some kind of tree. I read that this is possible by groups and sub-groups, but really didn't get out how to( Help needed.

Create a single data set with all the data. Then group on ID, then subordinate ID. Then, using some Javascript (I believe I have it in DevShare, or in a forum post), you would use clientside in a BIRT text element set to HTML, you would basically be setting the DIV style to hidden, and only show the children when the parents + button is clicked.
