Trying to have an external task check to see if a deployment of an edition has already occurred.

Parsing all the logs would be annoying and a waste of time. Perhaps if you kept track in some sort of config file whenever you deployed an edition saving the name of the edition to that config file, then you could simply parse the config file - much quicker and easier. Just a thought. Maybe there's a better way.
