PARAMETER PASSING PROBLEM

Hi, 
I have a query in a dataset. 
 
select t.productid ,v.prodname,sum(t.sep_clbal_val_ptr) AS CL_BAL from tbl_summary_rate t 
left join hms_prod.viewproducts v on t.productid=v.productid 
group by t.productid order by v.prodname. 
 
Now If i pass a string by paramemeter, the coloured string should be changed dynamically.

You can modify your query in the beforeOpen of your dataSet. So, you could run a replace() on your queryText to change the value you'd like to change if you have a parameter value to replace it. Hope this helps.

if your param value is 'aug' then 'aug' will replace 'sep'.
