I am going to write the data into a text file with grouping and sub totals also.

How to include grouping in the script?

You're writing the data out to a text file in script? If so, you should be able to just access the row["yourField"] value that you grouped on anywhere within that group. So, if your group is on a field called "customer", you'd output row["customer"] to your text file. Let me know if I'm not understanding correctly.
