document.getElementById not working

Hi All,

Am using Actuate BIRT version 10. It seams document.getElementById is not working, below is my code

Inside a text control

<div id="testid">Original Text</div>
<script> jslib.test.init();</script>
Or Print directly : <script> jslib.test.print5();</script>

myJScript.js

var jslib = {
test:
{
print5: function() { return "Five" } ,
init: function() { document.getElementById('testid').innerHTML = 'Change text' }
}
}

This code is taken from previous posts.
Not able to make this work.

Can you create a sample design that shows how you have this all set up and post it in here so I can try to see what's happening? Thanks!
