SVG is not SVG

Hello BIRT community,

I was testiing today some SVG images and came to conclusion that SVG is not the same as SVG means the SVG created by Inkscape cann't be recognized and in the PDF is message like: "Current report item is not supported in this report format.". But using SVG created with Adobe Ilustrator are fine and are displayed in the PDF.

Does anyone knows some solution about that.

Hello BIRT community,

the Inkscape images saved as normal SVG are working well when using my application and the BIRT API, but they couldn't be rendered from the BIRT Viewer.

I have posted this case some months ago but forgot that the SVG added as Image Item can only be rendered well using the BIRT API.
