installation on suse linux

Hi,

I try to install the evaluation version of BIRT server on suse linux enterprise 10.4 (64 bit).
The installation is ok. The server is running and I can upload reports.
If I start a report I get after a long time the error:
"3301: Cannot get report parameters for the specified file."
In the encycsrvr11...log I see:
Killing on-demand server because of hearbeat failure
AcOpSrvrProcess call to AcWaitPid() failed, pid:9666, errno: 10

Today I have tested the installation on suse linux enterprise 10.4 - 32 bit and I get the same errors.

Any idea?

Hi rk3,
Seems like iServer services did not start properly. Could you zip up all the log files when this error happened and attach it so we can investigate this at our end?

I ran into the same problem, I also have a Linux env for Iserversp3.
What I found was that I needed to copy some resources that the report uses to the Iserver
For example If you use and jdbc connection you need the drivers on the Iserver machine
