Drop Down & button in Eclipse BIRT

Could anyone tell how to add a drop down and a button in the BIRT report. On click of the button, the report has to be regenerated with the new values selected in the drop down.

You can create a HTML drop down in a text control and populate it with your data and then call your report by URL with the selected value being passed through a parameter.
