Method of reporting country or region stats on world map

Many of our executive reports are country by country or continent by continent data. Directors want to see visual indicators on a world map.

Tableau provides this kind of world map functionality eg:

Has any one any ideas about how we might achieve something similar in BIRT? Is there likely to be similar functionality in BIRT?
