Charts in Excel Output

Hi,

I'm new to BIRT charts. I have to display charts in Excel. When I tried to set up charts and display in Excel output, I can't see them. Does Excel displays Birt charts? If yes, what should I do different? Also, I know how to do pagebreaks(worked with pdf outputs). Is there any way I can create multiple sheets in Excel file? Thanks for your time and help.

I have tried doing same with actuate birt 2.6.1 its woks fine , i get chart output in excel. 
but it doesnt work with older version seems older versions emitter has some problem. 
what birt version u are using ? try it with 2.6.1 birt

The open source BIRT Excel emitter does not support charts. The reason being is that it outputs to the Office 2003 XML format, which did not support images. However, there are several emitters that have been released as part of the Getting Started with BIRT contest that output using the native Excel binary format, and those will output Excel charts as images correctly.

Also, the commercial version of BIRT provides and Excel emitter that does this and more. You can give it a try by downloading a trial version from the Products section and see if it does what you need.

I am sorry my mistake John is right i used Actuate11 birt 2.6.1 thats why it worked.
