dsahBoard Design using birt 3.7.1

hii,
i want to design one dashBoard page with four window having maximise and restore options.

is it possible using birt 3.7.1 ?

i know that we can design dashboard page using actuate but can we design same dashboard page using birt 3.7.1 ?

any additional jars will required for that . if any one did this befor plz attach that report page it will be very helpfull for me ..

You could use the tag library to embed reports or elements from reports into a jsp page and use hyperlinks to call the full report. Or you could do the same with a standard BIRT design. Create a dashboard of different elements and use a drill through to open the detailed report of the dashboard item. Maybe someone else has other things they've done to create dashboards with open-source BIRT.
