ASPX preview using .Net

We have TS 5.5.2 on Solaris 8. One of our branch has all ASP and ASPX content, which gets deployed to .Net (IIS) production server. To virtaulize this content, we are mapping workarea to external IIS server and are setting up proxy remap in /etc/iw.cfg.

ASP pages work well, but we are getting errors with ASPX. Can anyone share the thoughts or experience on how to do it. There is a KB article 49613, https://support.interwoven.com/kb/kb_show_article2.asp?ArticleID=49613, that talks about it. It seems to be for teamsite running on Windows server and hence not very helpful.

If you bypass TeamSite and browse the aspx files directly through IIS, do they still work? I'm a little confused on how you have it set up - does the W2K machine have a network share to the TeamSite workarea?

One idea may be to have asp.net run as a domain user - not a local account - and be sure that user is in the proper TeamSite group. I don't know a lot about Solaris, so I don't know if that is a help.

Sorry that I forgot to mention that this problem is resolved. Yes, we mapped teamsite WA to .Net server using samba and then did proxy preconnect map setting in iw.cfg. There are some things you need to do in IIS server (more than that was required for ASP preview). One of the IWOV tech support person in Atlanta knows the settings now, as I sent him detail email
