idapi java lib for Actuate 11.3

hi,

i used idapi java lib(idapi-client.jar) for iserver 10 sp2 and it worked well. But last week, we upgraded the iserver to 11.3, then the applications base on the old idapi java lib can not work. it complains "Failed. com.actuate.idapi.client.ActuateSessionException: Login failed".

does anyone know the reason or tell me how to get a new lib?

If you have access to the iServer (IE - the services and server are up and running), then you can build from the WSDL using ANT.

This is also explained in greater detail in the Server Integration Technology documentation which you can find with our documentation for BIRT iServer 11SP3 here on BIRT Exchange.

The login most likely failed as version 11 requires that you specifically name the target volume in the SOAP Header.
