Can Iam Upgrade from Teamsite 5.0.2 (Windows NT) to TeamSite 5.5.2 (w2k) in another server? Is it possible to convert the backing store between these OS's?

Windows -> Windows upgrade/conversion is officially supported.

Windows -> Unix, and Unix -> Windows upgrade/conversion is NOT supported.

You should be fine in your environment - just make sure to download and read through the upgrade documentation that is available on the support site.
